Jaipur - City of Palaces

Jaipur, commonly, known as the city of palaces. The city which was once the throne of many Rajput kings, and today their stories could be found imprinted in golden texts of various historical books. The thought of visiting the vast forts and palaces really filled my senses with lot of excitement. Tour to Jaipur, could take any traveler to the glorious past of the region. During my tour to Jaipur, I traveled to Amber Fort, Jaigarh Fort, Nahargarh Fort, City Palace,Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal, Chokhi Dhani and many other places. The first impression of these historical monuments left a great impact on my mind. I wasn't able to stop myself from thinking about these palaces. The travelers could stay in different hotels in Jaipur according to their comfort and convenience. Moreover, hotels in Jaipur, once the throne of kings are being turned into five star hotels and provide luxurious living to travelers, where the hospitality standards are completely unmatched.

But in contrast I would like to recommend all aspiring travelers, that irrespective of their costs, once in a lifetime they must stay in five star hotels in Jaipur. The well furnished marble floors, water fountains, rooms designed in mughal style would make you feel that you are back into that era, when the lifestyle was quite defined and superior in every aspect. These destinations fill colors into the imagination of travelers who have read about the fairy tales of various kings and the saga of most brutal battle fought by them in Rajasthan. Similarly, I have read lot of stories about these kings and at the very next moment, I boarded the train to Jaipur and reached, to see it all by myself.

On my way some of the passengers even narrated stories about ghosts but being the city dweller I never believed on such stories. But friends don't worry, the hotels in Jaipur, are equipped with 24 hours security, manicured spa's, swimming pool and so on. The tongue tickling delicacies prepared by popular chef of Jaipur, adds new charm in the mind of travelers to visit this destination just to satisfy their taste buds, and carry that evoking aroma along with them while leaving Jaipur.

Rajasthan's beautiful Pink City Jaipur, was the stronghold of a clan of rulers whose three hill forts and series of palaces in the city are important attractions. Known as the Pink City because of the colour of the stone used exclusively in the walled city. Rajasthan tours and travel packages.
